Out of the 71/2 habits (I'll assume that you know what I'm talking about), I will just leave you with the highlights...
Applies to me: viewing problems as challenges. This one in particular hits home. I really hate not knowing how to do something. I am not a particularly competitive person when I play sports (although I do like to play sports), but when it comes to things like crossword puzzles and board games (especially Risk), I get pretty intense. I just like to know random stuff!
Doesn't apply to me: setting goals. I typically start out with the idea of over-acheivment, but life gets in the way. Take knitting for example: I learned how to do the basics and made a bunch of scarves for my family and friends one year. I was all gung-ho to learn how to make socks (which was my original goal). Never happened. I think that knitting takes a real talent for following directions...something that my cooking would prove to be not-so-good. I never did learn to make socks. Maybe I'll try again tomorrow now that I'm thinking about it.
